i dont know if this will help or hinder, but,

A style of fly called "The Skeleton Beadle" series was
invented by Mr.L.Killroy.  These were sold by Farlows
of London.  Tied on low water salmon hooks they utilised
narrow "V-sections" cut from a range of feathers with
left and right fibers of equal length

Tag    fine oval silver
Tail   GP crest
Butt   Ostrich dyed buff
Body   rear red floss front black floss both very thin
       ribbed with fine oval silver and clear varnished
Hackle Badger as a collar
Wing   V's cut from large brown hackle and a GP breast feather

body is standard through range, vary wing material...teal, pheasant
shoulder feather, grouse body feather.......
