I've not tried it yet, but I've always wondered if that dry comb-in/brush-out shampoo would work.
Just a thought.
 
Or else take it to the dry cleaner. 
(I just sink-washed a silver pheasant skin and it came out fine.)

Hi I just received some dried genetic rooster pelts, minus the necks.  Does any one know how to remove the blood that is on the feathers without have to resort to a complete rehydration & soaking of the pelts?  One of them is a real nice dark cree.
