Hi list,
Around 1897 an English gentleman, Admiral  William R Kennedy, bought a villa in the north west of Sweden (in Landverk near the city Ostersund) for his fly-fishing expeditions. The villa is today club house for a local fishing club. On the wall above the door you can still see a sign, put up there by the late admiral, which says:

"The Fisherman sallieth forth in the
Morning and disturbeth the whole Household;
he stayeth abroad all day and returneth
in the Evening, when the smell of Whiskey is upon
him and the truth is not in him"

Greetings from Sweden,
Soren
