[VFB] Fly Rod Question

Today I found a fly rod that came home with me, and $30 stayed at the fly shop, it is an L.L. Bean 765 7'6" for 4/5wt. It is a very light rod that seems to be very stiff up to the 5th eye. I took it out behind the fly shop and cast it a few times and even with the windy conditions it cast very very well. If any of you fly rod aficionados have any other info it would be appreciated greatly.
