What are your thoughts on this?   I have done it a few times. I tied some feather body bass flies and ended up trimming the hackle to make them work better.   Also I have been trimming the hackle on the bottom of some flies becasue I think that they work better.   this might end becasue I have tied a few paralopp flies and like the way that they come out.   Really did the quote to stir the pot and see what everybody thinks.   I even have bandages ready to cover my wounds.  Is a chance for Don and Bob to take a shot at me.   Rick
