Well folks, life is back to normal. Theresa and Amanda got home last evening, the car is un-packed and all is right with the world. Everyone back home was fine, they had a good time and the first words out of Amanda was, " Dad, it was a good trip, can we go fishing if the weather is warm??" That's my girl. A very good friend of mine here got a 8' 7wt with reel and line for the holiday. I am working on putting together some flies for him and his daughter, ( who is Amanda's "Best" friend). We plan to go as a group, Theresa and Kim can do "Girl" stuff and I will work with Robert and Amanda will work with Haley, ( We have to get her set up as well). Robert and I always have a good time just talking and this should really be the beginning of some new adventures. Who knows, we may get them to tying as well ???
I am thankful that my wife and daughter are home and thankful for the "List" who kept me company while they were gone. Have a very happy new year my friends, we have a new inductee here in the desert southwest, pray we teach them right and help to pass on the "Art" we all love so well. Amanda has already taught Haley how to "Roll" cast with her birthday present, she's a bit dangerous with back casting but she will do fine, she has a dedicated teacher. Will run folks, going to make Omelets for the girls and get the day started. Again, thank you all my friends, your dedication and perseverance working with me and Amanda is an inspiration to us to pass it along. Jimi
