When I say mostly, I mean that I will add a little amonium nitrate to speed up a compost pile - don't lecture me on that!  I'm a certified Master Gardener! I do what works and causes the least harm to the envrionment! - and I've been know to use anti-fungal agents on cucumbers.

Doug;  Sorry for the mix up.  While I'm not certified at gardening or tying flys, I'll put my reputation on the line in the gardening circle and have fun tying flys any day you want to come over.  In Y2K I put 2 packets of cucumber seeds (one pickler and one slicer) in the ground (with a stick) in mid July and Lina put up 84 quarts of pickles in addition to the bushels I gave away.  I'm inclined to plant heirloom seed but use "hybrid" flys for the most part.  Wait!  Were those anti-fungals nasty or friendly chemicals?  Do you know Kent Whealy or Mike McGrath?  Would you like to have a contest growing a crop of your choice?  How about fly patterns?  Want to pick the pattern or the stream?  We could have a blast fishing Doug's Cuke versus Murf's Tomato.

Murf, just being Irish and pulling your chain (you really piss on your compost?  I get the chickens to crap in mine)
