Hmmmm... Do you suppose trout like the scent of the product or the color of the wrapper? I watched Charles Meck fish his Patriot fly on a remote stream with no results one warm May day from a distance so as not to disturb him. Walked in once he went well upstream and caught 2 brookies on yellow humpies if I remember right. Charles was signing books at the local shop (where the NEC VI clave was held and now NEC X will be held) and tying his signature fly.
