I know it's too darn cold for most of this country to get out and
fish...how about some tales from the warmer folk to make the rest of
us jealous.

Tis a balmy 2 degrees F here in MD.  Tried to fish today but the danged fly (with a 3oz Sinker) would nary break the ice.  As for Bubba, he and his pop like to fish and is probably as frustrated as us listers with the stream iced over.  Religion?  Watch a tailing trout and you'll get some.  The Peta person?  Maybe a lister bored to tears over the cold and our listmeister has it in hand.  Whoops, did I say hand?  Better get back to my vise before he calls me on the Murf phone.  Tonight I'll be tying some spring wigglers.  Kinda like a cheap version of a crayfish.  Naw, I'm going to tie some cray fish using red squirrel, chenille, olive hackle and goose wing over the back on #6 3xl hooks.  Might even tie some #28 black gnats and put em all over my vfb cap.  Well, gotta go put on my neoprene waders before bed to keep warm.

Murf, having a ham steak and some pot roast with roasted veggies
