The English drive on the left hand of the road, on continental Europe we drive on the right side as well.

My memories of the Autobahn are correct then. When I was a lad, I remember us traveling on the right but all those James Bond movies confused me. I DO recall seeing a number of vehicles which had run off the road (going too fast?) but no injuries.
