Alan, the Pedro is a 20, 22 or 24 with  a bit of brown hair spun on it with the front end sticking up..nothing fancy but a winner. You can mimic it by tying on a strip of gray/brown/white blended wool cut long (Lamb's Pride in brown, heather brown and cream makes a very good substitute when the donkey is out and dirty and I need to make a few for fishing).  Tie on the wool dubbing, spin it on and leave a tuft sticking up for the head.It was invented by Dr. Gomez,  a podiatrist flyfisherman who owns the mule.
