How about using Dai-Riki 950 or the Daiichi 2546 (available from Line's End, of course..)????? they are somewhat a different bend style but they are the lighter wire you mention needing & they will work fine for Big Trout Streamers.....

Unfortunately, none of the hook references I have seen show what I
want. I did see some Eagle Claw Lazer hooks once that were about
right, but this store (most likely to have them) did not stock them.
The Gamakatsu hooks I bought are more like 1XH wire, just have the
danged open eye. Someone suggested I take a pair of pliers to them
(which at least may salvage this purchase), but it still would be nice
to know the right brand and product number of hook.
