Cool, I hope it works out well for Dave. As you said, he's a super guy. Bent over backwards for me on the first vise. He's got a bunch of other stuff he sells too. Where can I pick up a bobbin holder for the vise. After playing around with it last night, I can see the need when using the rotary feature. Kept having to half hitch when ever I was rotating to keep the thread snug. Also, do you happen to know who sells those springs that fit around the vise head for holding materials? Damn hackle kept wrapping around the fly when I was wrapping the chenille.

Thanks, Mark.
Counting you, that makes 4 of us from the two FF Lists I'm on that bought the vise and all very satisfied customers. I liked mine so well that I abought a second one. You're right about Dave. He's a super guy. I haven't noticed the lever causing the vise to rotate to the "lever down" position. I just naturally used the "dial" as you termed it. I rotate it and then if I want to hold it at a certain spot, just tighten the set screw a little. Both my vises I got from Dave are extremely smooth.
Another satisfied customer.
