You can't got to Banff without fishing the Bow River -- world class rainbow and cut-throat trout fishing.
The best fishing is below Calgary -- but you might want to pick up a copy of the book "Blue Ribbon Bow" by Jim McLennan or another book by him called "Trout Streams of Alberta".
