Some one earlier was asking about videos for tying the Classic Salmon flies.   Mike Radencich has put out a two part DVD on tying the Jock Scott.  It is $40.00  and is well worth it.  It is a lesson you can take home and play over and over.  I haven't had a chance to play mine yet but I hear the quality is as good as his photography.  I believe it judging from the packaging.  The nice part about it is you can pull up the DVD scene menus and jump to what ever lesson you would want....   body, married wing, bronze mallard wing...  etc.  It is well broken down.  He even discusses selection of the feathers used.  I think if you don't have the opportunity to take a class this would be a worthwhile purchase.  Even if you do take a class these dvd's would be the best "notes" one could take.   I think this fly is one of the best examples he could've put into a DVD also.  Covers about all lessons you would need to know on these flies.
I don't know how to contact Michael Radencich.  I picked my copy up from John McLain.
