Washed the line with dish soap and then applied the Future. I didn't soak
the line just applied it generously with a rag, let dry (it takes a while to
dry thoroughly) and rubbed it down. Soaking may not be a bad idea, but
haven't tried it, may get it into the cracks. Gloves are indispensable.
