[VFB] about vises

A question to all   A friend of mine is looking at inexpensive rotary vises. He seems to have his mind set on the Thompson Cobra. He's going for it because he likes the way it looks. I figured I'd do some research for him here on the list and find out if any of the members here have ever used this vise or if I could get some different opinions for better rotary vises at the same price range.
