Don't know if the diameter is small enough, but Feathercraft 
(www.feather-craft.com) carries F-C Seamless Steel Rings (item B3-544) for 
salt water.  They don't give a size, just describing the rings as "tiny".  
An e-mail to them would probably get you the answer - Ed knows a lot of 
suppliers.
