One of the characters should be Jimmy D. Moore.

Hi Gang,
Don't want to be too commercial here, but over the last two years, I've used several quotes from my upcoming outdoor humor book in the QUOTE FOR THE DAY, actually quite a few of them. Also, several of you asked to read some of my outdoor humor stories and a few of them are posted in the Article sections of the VFB and FFW. As a result of all this, several of you have been inquiring about when my book will be available. I had hoped to get it published last year, but it has been an on again, off again proposition as I searched for a good publisher. I had a couple, but didn't like the terms they wanted to impose on me, so I kept shopping around. In the meantime I completely re-wrote my book "Outdoor Memories of the Heartwarming Kind", into what I believe is a much more humorous and enjoyable read.
Originally, I wrote it in "first person" since it was about me and my humorous outdoor fishing and hunting adventures over the last 45 years. About three months ago I decided to re-write it in "third person" and change the names of the characters and places, while still holding true to my tales, well somewhat true to them. ;-) I recently finished this re-write and at the same time, found a publisher to my liking and signed a contract with them two weeks ago. The title of my book is now "MOON HOLLER MISFITS", with Moon Holler being a fictional town in Mississippi, with characters like Hardy Loudermilk, D.L. Troupe, Uncle Percy Williams, Le Ford Rains, Steve Taylor, Jim Wetland and Ollie Newsome. They are members of the Moon Holler Misfits Hunting and Fishing Club. With wive's names like Della Imogene, Sibbie Sue, Betty Earline, Sula Mauvine, Mamie Raynell, Cora Beth and May Pearl, I think you can get a feel for the
way the book will read. The result is a much better book and my publisher loves it. Moon Holler Misfits should be available around the end of March. I'll let you know when the time comes.
Byard, don't Holler too loud at me. :-P
