Just a little observation of mine. There are a good # of people who have a problem with using egg patterns. A couple years ago I got flamed big time by some Jerk on another board because I suggested somebody use them on some of my home waters. I often see the same thing with worm patterns. However often times the same people will use bait fish patterns and not have a problem with that. IMO everything we use is trying to imitate a food source and to say using one and not another is ok doesn't seem right. I may be full of hot air but I think if someone wants to use an egg pattern or an inch worm good for them. If one chooses not to use these patterns well then good for them as well. One of the things I like about this wonderful sport of ours is the chance to be creative and the fact that no one way or technique is the only one.
