Hi Deb, yes it (the Dingo) is Australian. Maybe if i ever get the jaws back to the manufactuar, he send me replacements for the no good ones. I fail to see HOW they chiped, and or bent. Not to mention the malmanufactured attachment for the bobbin craddle ever got drilled out upside down, lol. Vice has been nothing but problems since i got it. Base is not at all heavy enough either. AND, everything is speced metric, so nothing "fits" anything made in the U.S. In other words the stem won't go in a better base made here, and all attachments aren't interchangeable. SUCKS! mark.......

The LAW vise is made by Lawrence Waldron, Staffordshire. It would be my
choice for a vise if I didn't already have a DynaKing with all the
attachments and the exchange rates were a little more favorable. Hans has
some links for that vise but you can also find information thru Google. I'm
not familiar with the Dingo but I believe it is an Australian vise.
