Joyce, i'd go with Tony's suggestion. I was in the Blue Ribbon shop almost 
every day while i was in "West" this past Aug. It's definately my favorite 
fly shop in "West." Materials wise, they got it over all the rest. I'd bet 
that (midge) body is just thread. mark....

Needing the actual pattern for the slough creek midge, found in a picture 
at http://www.blueribbonflies.com/merchandise/flies_nymphs.shtml.
In looking at the  picture, I think I'm seeing a bead with a bit of dubbing 
or cdc..any ideas on the actual pattern? Any help will be appreciated.
