Subject: [VFB] Somebody's got a virus.......
Date: Mon, 11 Oct 2004 21:39:13 -0500

I've received three different e-mails, supposedly from different members of the VFB list, which contained one of the "worm" virus (W32 variations).

These things randomly pick an address from the Outlook Express "nicknames" folder and use this as the sending address, then mail it to everyone on the same list.

I've seen them many times before and they don't bother me, since I do not use Outlook Express and I am on a Macintosh, so the ".exe" viruses can't work on my system.

However, it is a first for me. One of the three supposed was sent to me by.........me! <G>

Everyone on PC's who use Outlook Express should run a virus check.

Good luck,

Allan
