Sounds good my friend,
Hope you are better than new. You folks getting any rain down there? We
had only 2 days last week without it and neither was a full 24 hours.
Thunderstorms to the south and west of us this morning and raining again.
Water at the lake is so off colored and the river is red mud colored. If the
roads ever dry out enough to get to the water the temps are perfect for
fishing but the water is not. Heard that with all the rain in the mountains
to the west of us that the fishing has been off for almost 3 weeks. We are
due for a cold front this week and more rain, go figure, we live in a
dessert and the weather and greenery looks like Seattle. Hunkered down on a
very cool wet morning. This keeps up I will be delegated to start my winter
fly tying sessions a couple of months early. Haven't had the chance to lose
what I tied last winter yet. Cleaned the furnace yesterday and lit the pilot
just in case, temp outside right now is 54. Still have to get the shop,
water tanks and under the house ready for winter, if it will ever dry out
enough.
Jimi
Thanks for all the prayers and concern for me and my knee. The doc never
put me on crutches and I've been walking since leaving the hospital
Thursday. The best part of the report is that although the doc repaired
the torn miniscus, he found no incidence of arthritis in my knee joint.
Cheers !
