To the whole list: today's conversations help illustrate why this is the best list
around. One minute there is a lively "discussion" regarding presentation versus
pattern (and I don't think this one is over yet) and the next minute someone (from
overseas, no less) asks about a product, and the list immediately jumps in to help
with useful information. I love this. I took last week off for the deer hunt, and
came back to the office to find 256 emails waiting. Almost through them all. I
enjoyed all of it. Especially to DonO, you are a gentleman, and I expect everyone
knows it by now.

I don't have breathable waders yet, but my local shop can get Patagonia, Simms, and
most everything else, but they use and recommend the Dan Bailey Waders.

Rene,
I just called a guide friend at the Platte River Flly Shop, since they go
through so many sets of waders, 8 guides drifting and wade-fishing every day
in rough circumstances.

This is from the mouth of a river guide:

#1 Choice- Orvis Pro-guide, $289.00 U.S. had them 4 years & holding up very
well. Good warrenty, backed well by Orvis. Good price also.

#2 Choice- Patagonia SST, $335.00 U.S. Hold up well and backed well, just a
bit more expensive.

#3 Choice- Simms, actually last choice for price $500.00+- Not much extra
for the money, but good waders.

His recommendation was the Orvis.

Hope this helps,
DonO
