No, I didnt email Denny. Nice idea tho. We do not dye any of our hackle. Thanks for thinking of us. Because the pattern calls for green dyed deer hair for the tail and under body & over body, I might suggest dying your deer hair and the one green hackle called for in the pattern yourself. Perhaps you may be able to get the same color where if you purchased dyed, it may not match as well as you might like.The other two colors of hackle called for are yellow and orange. (one each, green,yellow & orange). The lateral line is called for as being, braided orange buck tail.
