You may want to try getting one of those painter's plastic jump suits with masks..the kind that one uses in a paint booth to paint cars. They markedly reduce the amount of problems one has from allergic reactions. I remember, from the days when we made dulcimers, many from exotic woods, that osage orange was one of the woods that were were told absolutely to wear protection while we worked on it..I believe that it has some sort of dermatitis effect on everyone. Also, if you get gloves, and wear them, you may wish to consider only those made of vinyl as repeated use of gloves often results in a latex allergy whcih can, in some people, be death dealing. Don't take this lightly my friend..first there is skin itching and blotchiness, next comes a full blown anaphylactic reaction. Joyce
