What do you mean by the knot sense "not curing"?  There is a little
residual film of goo that will remain even after it has cured...this is
called "residual tack" by the people at Loon (or something like that).
It's not a big deal...will go away...and actually doesn't appear to the
same extent if you cure it in sunlight.  This doesn't affect the
adhesive properties.  The only thing that I have noticed about it,
however, is that if I touch it before it dries my flies will have a
"matte finish", which may not be all that bad.  Sometimes I wait a
minute or two and then add an additional coat as well.  Not sure if it
makes a difference.
