[VFB] Denver Show

Howdy,   Just got home from the Denver Show, and it was good that we came home today, as Casper is getting socked in, and we got in just ahead of the weather.   Got to tie my mouse Saturday in the video theater, just after Bob Clouser's spot (I got to watch his whole routine).  Got to meet him a little later and give him the 'Baits Hotel' routine.  He laughed his butt off, and I wound up giving him a mouse, a baby platypus, and a seriously wounded minnow fly.  He is a really neat and down-to-earth guy, has a great sense of humor, and loves to cut up.  Definitely an IOFF'er.   We all went to dinner last night, and the table read like a who's-who list.  There was Mike Lawson, Jack Dennis, Jeff Courier, Bob Clouser, Bruce (from Jack's shop), Pat Dorsey and his wife, and Pat and Carol Oglesby, and then a few I didn't recognize.  Cheryl and I got to sit across from Bob Clouser and we cut up all night, told jokes and stories, and had a ball.    I got to tie for a little at the tier's table, using Bob's stuff while he was doing casting demo's.  Did a lot of rope-dubbing demos alternating with the BH show.    DonO
