I have about 5 colors of the boa yarn.  I use them to make bass flies.  
Marabout tail like a wooly bugger, then palmer the boa yarn up laying the 
fibers back as you go.  When wet they look much like a tube jig does in the 
water.  Bass love the purple one and the red one so far the best.
