Johnson and Barton made it home Sunday evening around 7:00 p.m. More to
come regarding the Sowbug. It should forever be referred to as the
"Wowbug" instead of the Sowbug ! ! Thanks to all, and most of all to
Tony who was, as always, the gracious host. What a guy !

Hi everyone,
Made it home ok... First of all, I want to thank Tony Spezio for
inviting me as a tyer to the "Sowbug", "Thank you Tony!!!"... I had an
absolutely wonderful time, I enjoyed it immensely... Unfortunately I
didn't get there until about 2:30 Thursday afternoon, after 28 hours on
the road, I was dead tired and still had to set up camp there at "Bull
Shoals", (beautiful, beautiful campground)... I met some fabulous
people, got some very good pointers and instructions, (especially from
Slim who taught me some new ways of tying foam bodies and his "thread
weave"... WOW!!), and made a lot of great new friends... I could go on
and on about the people I met, and saw tye, but words can not express it
enough... All I can say is that the show was exceptionally put on with
some of the most friendliest and gifted people I have ever met... My
hat goes off to Tony and the people of the "North Arkansas Fly Fishers
Association" for an absolutely wonderful show... Thank you... I just
wish I was able to stay a little longer to do some fishing and
socializing... Maybe next year...

Also, Tony, Saturday afternoon, there was a woman there who I was
sitting just a couple of chairs down from, who was tying up "Humming
Birds" and I saw one in a clear glass Christmas ball ornament... Who
was she??... Do you know how to get in touch with her??... She was
going to tye one up for me but the power was turned off... If you can
get in touch with her, tell her I would pay anything to have one of her
"Humming Birds" in the Christmas ball ornament... Cost is no object...

Thank you....

Rodney...
