Unfortunately this is the way of IT and manufacturing. I do agree that some of the online avenues are good extensions to find you employment. However, in my experience the best way to find a job is thru people you know or avenues you already have available. The school would be a good start, any networking events or special interest groups with you particular professional interests are great avenues too.
Now if we could only just tie and fish we all would be happier. Bill
