Rick,
You are right. I believe the second book was Sunfishes II, can't put my
hands on that copy right now.
I have talked to Jack on the phone years ago, he used to come to the
Conclave in Mt. Home.
Speaking of coming to the Conclave years ago, I have been trying to
contact Joe Messenger. He used to do the Conclave too. He is from West
Virginia, anyone in that area know him. He now guides for a flyshop back
there I am told. Joe ties the Messanger Frog like his dad used to tie.
It has been 9 years since I had contact with him.
I would like to get in touch with him again. I have tied at the shows
back east with him.

Use your library! Check out the books and see if you like them.
Randall Kaufmann's dry fly and nymph books are my recommendation for
beginners targeting trout.
I also love "The Fly Tier's Benchside Reference" by Ted Leeson, Jim
Schollmeyer. This book is loaded with methods of tying flies.

Folks: I mentioned having bought the book "Bluegill....Fly Fishing
and Flies" by Terry and Roxanne Wilson... Is this a good beginner
book, or should I go get a "Flyfishing for Dummies" or some other
book as a basic Fly Fishing/tying book???? or CD's, VHS Tapes????
Thanks in advance.... Chuck
