I'm mighty fond of emergers. If you can get 11 others, I'll be #12. I know, you want to cap it at 10 but emergers are so easy to tie it seems a shame. Thinking of tying Mr. Spezios pattern. How many have seen it? Okay, how many in this swap have seen it?
See? This is the type of pressure I got on the IOFF swap. Capped it at 25 and ended with 35.

Subject: [VFB] Mayfly Swap Update...
Date: Tue, 14 Jun 2005 15:28:40 -0600
So far we've got 7 participants:
1. Rodney Barilleaux
2. Todd Skibbe
3. Nick Runarsson
4. Jimi Genzling
5. Mike Bliss
6. Rob Poutre
7. Ronan MacLoughlin
Need 3 more to make a cap of ten... If not I'm cool with 7... How do
the rest of you feel about that??... Is 7 ok if we can't get 3 more
with a signup deadline of June 30th??... I'm going to be going back
up to the San Juan River next week, for 5 days of fishing because
they're going to start lowering the flow @ 500 cfs per day, beginning
the 15th and hoping to have it down to either 500 or 800 cfs by the
28th... So the fishing should be better than excellent...
Here are the swap rules again:
***Mayfly Swap***
Particularly Emergers, sizes #16 to #20 with a deadline date, to be
received by me, of maybe middle of September??? (Deadline up for
disscusion.)... All flys are to be submitted with toe tags, with the
name of the fly, tyers name and email address, that way if someone
wants the recipe and tying instructions for a particular fly, they can
contact the tyer of that fly directly... Less work, less hassle for
everyone involved... Other than that, normal swap rules apply, (flys
are to be submitted in a tin or crush-proof box, which will be
returned, a return lable and enough $$$ or postage for the return trip
back to the participant)...
