What flies did you use and what sizes? I have heard some interesting
stories on how small the flies have to be.

"T"... And, yes, doing the "San Juan Shuffle" is an absolute NO-NO...
But I'll tell you, it does get frustrating when the fishing gets
really slow and you see 3 or 4 nice Bows or Browns right at your feet
below you... Makes you want to look around and see if there's anyone
looking, grab your net and see if you can scoop one up real quick...
LOL ... Seriously though, it is illegal to attempt to catch fish
directly below your feet or attempt to fish directly below someone
else upstreem from you...

Never been there, but it is illegal to fish in your wake or downstream of
another person, as wading fishermen kick up bottom-dwellers and the fish
have learned to exploit this smorgasboard of delights. The G&F wardens
will
ticket you (and more) if they catch you at it.
