am planning some more. The fish were stacked in the Cow Shoals on
the Little Red for almost a month and I have never caught so many or
so big brown trout. I fished the two days after Thanksgiving and
caught close to 80 fish in two days, only caught 6 rainbows, largest
brown 24 1/2 inches and the smallest one was around 14. I caught
several fish in the 17 - 22 inch range. I went back the next
Saturday and caught around 50 fish that day biggest a sow about 21
inches. I have never seen the fishing like this myself and I hear
lots of big fish still on those shoals. Midges have been the
killer,my Yong Special Variant and also caught a lot of fish on Trout Crack.
