Hello all;

I used to be fairly active in this group. I would hit
the reply key and I would start new threads. I would
ask questions. I would go to the chatroom. Now I hit
the delete key more than the reply key. When I go to
the chatroom, no one else is there.

I have always been of the persuasion that if I wasn't
interested in a message, or if it was off topic, to
just delete it. That is the way it is in these groups.
But, how many times should I hit the delete key before
I realize that there are more messages I am not
interested in or OT posts than on topic posts? When do
I quit deleting and just unsub?

To be truthful, I have seriously thought of unsubbing
from time to time, but I just keep hanging on, hoping
that there will be a message about fly tying, or maybe
a recipe posted that this semi-neophyte could try to
tie.

I learned a lot from the answers to the questions that
Chuck Alexander asked when he first joined. After
that, it just seemed like all that was happening here
were all the alter-egos speaking to one another.

Seems that no one goes into the chatroom any more.
Jimmy's mention of it today was the first time I
recall mention of it in months. Too bad I can't make
it in there this evening. Seems like it might be a
lively discussion.

I think this list is worth it. To me, it is a good
list. I would like to see it get back to the original
intent of the list, but that is only my opinion. The
mass populance will dictate the path this list will
take...or Byard will. Then, I will decide if the list
is what I want or not.

Tight lines,
