1) Does anyone actually fish with size 32's?
        You could, the hook is strong enough, and it has a barb.
2) How do you tie one to your leader?
        The leader is tied underneath the fly or snelled to the shank above
the spade end.
        I tied a #32 RC for Tom Zacoi that had 8" of 8X leader attached.
        It would be fished as a dropper below a dry fly.  (It orig. was a
bait hook)
3) Is there enough room between the point of the hook and the shank to
actually hook a fish?
        Yes.  Play fish gently.

I have smaller hooks for bend radius- size 36, but the shank is long, like a
streamer hook.  They are wire hooks, and therefore not as strong as the
forged Mustads.  They are also spade eye, but without a barb.
I intend to tie some streamers on them.
