The TMC 32's have eyes, otherwise I wouldn't even bother messing with them.

Mike:

I've used it.  It was one of those days when the fish kept looking, but not taking I'd started with 6X and worked my way through 7X and 8X.  I had a spool of 10X with me, so I tried that and actually hooked and landed a 10 inch brown with it. I know people will cringe but I have a limited range of fly rod weights and was using a 5 wgt.  I just lifted the rod and let the trout hook itself as it turned.  I was either fishing a size 28 or 30 tied on the TMC hook.  I also have spools of the 11X and 12X from Varivas.  I picked them up for a couple of bucks at an Orvis bargain basement sale. I've yet to have a reason to use them.

As far as tying 32's I did one for Han's is swap, and I carry a few simple midge patterns tied on the TMC 32 in my midge box.  I did tie a Royal Wulff on the TMC 32 a couple of years ago when my saltwater club started getting a table at both the Somerset shows.  Us warm/salt water tyers, sometimes get looked down on by those who tie only trout flies because we only tie large flies.  I've have it in a small box with a magnifier and like to display next to the Herring pattern tied on a 12/0 Gamakatsu.
