Dont forget the tail feathers for split quill wings.   iain



Yep, got whole skin though I mainly tie soft hackle patterns with the softer
 feathers.  You can also use them for legs on nymphs.  If a pattern  calls
for partridge you can use grouse.
  I  imagine the wing feathers would be useful for some patterns.
