I used it like long strand black bear hair or Yak. Twist into a rope
like fashion on bodies to make durable Carey Specials,
and also used in 'Ta=Tonka' Pike Flies invented by Greg Scratchley of
Flyangler.ca. You can also use for overwing hair wing flies.

it worked great on Pike too. More was posted
here about the uses of Buffalo hair as well.. not many folks use it
