if you want a good bugger pattern, try a brown tail, brown hackle, silver 
flashabou in tail. the body is alternating colors olive and bright orange , 
dubbed.   i call it my brookie bugger.

 My fly boxes are full of patterns that most guys
would frown upon; Simple tyes that catch fish. I am
getting back to basics: flys that catch fish--or the
fly is thrown out. I know this gives the material
marketers and the hook vendors NIGHTMARES. However, if
the bug does not work why waste time & money on it. I
mean the idea is to catch fish---Right?
