I do think it does make a difference when the sun is out with the flash. I tied a bucktail (leadhead) for a tackle shop a few years back (1995) It consisted of a plain white head red mouth, and black eyes (on the hotlips lead mold) The entire body was entirely pearl krystal flash tied with monofilament line. For years it out fished any bucktail that was on the market for fluke. (in fact,,,caught stripers,blues,weakfish,just about everything that was swimming there (amityville,copaique, Long Island NY) Now the owner of the tackle shop put a patent on it as (the Terminator ) Not that I see any of those royalties,,,but thats a whole other story LOL
