Here is some info I have received recently. Still have a couple of messages
from the state Biologist to go threw but have learned a lot on how the DDT
and DDE and DDD got into Brantley Lake. One thing I have learned so far,
the catfish have the high concentrations, the Walleye and Bass's are
considerable below any danger rate.

Anyway, thought I would give you an update, and let you know I am getting a
"great" education on my "local" fishery, the fish there and the condition
of it.

But, I am not done yet and hope to fish it soon, with a Fly Rod Of Course.

Here is a list from the stocking data base on what we have done the last
few years.  As far as fish in the reservoir go we have;

Sport fish: white bass, largemouth bass, spotted bass, walleye, channel
catfish, flathead catfish, white crappie, bluegill, green sunfish,
longear sunfish

Non game fish: common carp, river carpsucker, longnose gar, gizzard
shad, bigscale logperch, assorted minnows

As to the number of Walleye, 750,000 to 1 million last April.
They were very small.
