Until a short while ago, I was without power for almost 25 hours due to a
major storm that wreaked havoc Wednesday in greater Vancouver and elsewhere
in British Columbia. Trees are down everywhere bringing down electrical
power cables in the process. It became a bit cool as my only source of heat
is electrical. One building under construction collapsed, crushing cars in
the process - fortunately the construction crew was on a break at the time
and no injuries reported. Many traffic lights are still not working and it
is quite hazardous as some drivers are driving through the intersections
without stopping first.

Spent last evening with a Petzl LED light strapped around my head so that I
could at least read my fly fishing magazines. I plan to continue with tying
for the Chili Pepper swap now that I can see again!
