It is likely that my club, Free State Fly Fishers, will host a party on Saturday night for friends of the club. Probably some good Kansas BBQ. We did this for conclave in October, basically inviting a few folks that weren't going to dinner and being good diplomats, brought in the neighbors. Friday evening about 6 PM will be a free barbecue for all tyers. Tyers will be permitted to have one free guest, Others are also invited for a small fee. Last year a group got together at a local sports bar one evening. I was able to get a guide to take some of the guys out a couple of days on the river before the Sowbug show started. I will have a house full for the week before and the week after the show , I do plan on doing some fishing it things go as planned.
