Hi, I own more 'technical' books, than story telling ones. But the story telling are more fun sometimes.
My favorites are J.D. Moore (Maybe you know him)- he wrote a book about some crazies from Moon Holler, and Charles Ritz, right now I read his very interesting book about his time. rods made from bamboo, lines woven silk, and leader and tippets knotted from silk worm gut. What a hassle with the gut, you have to keep it wet, and no fishing breaks - the gut might dry out and break. Rene Jimmy D.
