According to document at https://github.com/qemu/qemu/blob/master/docs/igd-assign.txt , my win7 vm is started successfully with passed-through IGD device by legacy mode with x-igd-gms=1. The memory of vm is 3G, cpu mode is host-passthrough. In the "Standard VGA Adapter Properties" interface, the "Total Available Graphic Memory" is sometimes only 960KB on my hardware enviroment, and sometimes 4194240 KB on Intel NUC. When set to 960KB, windows with be rebooted into recovery mode after Intel driver installed. If no driver from Intel, windows 7 resolution can be only set to 800*600. In BIOS, DVMT Pre-Allcated is set to 128M, Aperture size is set to 256MB, DVMT Total Gfx Mem is 256M, which seems no influence on total available graphic memory in win7. My question is: Where can I specify the total available graphic memory for passed-through IGD device?
