... and xawtv has some functions which use lookup tables as default
catch.  These lookup tables are initialized at startup with approximate
values for the X-Servers ximage format.  This way everything works fine
even if the ximage format is _not_ one of the common ones (rgb555 on a
byteswapped display, rgb with 10 bit color dept, ...).
