[V4L] A way (API) to display my grabt frames in X

Hello,

1)
I have a view lines of c code to grab with v4l.
Now I need an easy way (API and/ore Example) to get this frames in a X-Window.

2) Is X-Video a god choice ? And is there a simple example?
                                
p.s: (just info) Later the program  should run a loop like 
grab->calculate->display
